AI-native Airmesh
A company built for people and AI to work together.
We are building Airmesh with AI team members as part of the organisation—with responsibilities, working context and the resources to contribute across our businesses.

A different way to build
What changes when AI becomes part of the organisation?
A team builds understanding over time: what matters to the business, what has already been tried, and what needs to happen next.
We want AI team members to build that understanding too: to know their role, pick up work where it left off, and keep useful knowledge available to the team.
We are building this into the organisation from the start: how responsibilities are assigned, context is shared and results are reviewed.
- Understand
Know the purpose and the work so far.
- Contribute
Take responsibility for the next step.
- Carry forward
Keep the context the team will need.

Inside the team
A role with the resources to do the work.
An AI team member needs access to the work: relevant documents and data, tools and systems, and the channels where the team communicates.
We are designing that access around each role’s responsibilities. A clear remit, an accountable human owner and a way to bring decisions back to the team are part of the role.
One team. A shared working environment.
Our directionWhat the role is there to accomplish.
Expertise, judgement and accountability.
Defined roles and ongoing working context.
Each AI role has an accountable human owner.
Shared working environment
- Knowledge & data
The information the role needs.
- Tools & systems
The means to carry out the work.
- Communication
A way to coordinate with the team.
- Working context
Decisions, progress and lessons retained.
Results returned to the team for review.
Learning through work
Experience should improve what happens next.
Work produces more than an output. It reveals what was useful, what failed and what the team would do differently.
Our aim is to keep those lessons and put them to use. That may mean updating the working context, changing instructions, improving a tool or changing the underlying system. Each change needs to be evaluated through the work that follows.
People remain responsible for deciding what good work looks like and whether a change has improved it.
- Work
Contribute to a defined outcome.
- Review
Examine the result with the team.
- Retain
Keep useful context and lessons.
- Improve
Apply changes and evaluate them.

Across Airmesh
Built into how the business works.
This ambition reaches across the organisation: researching an opportunity, building a product, coordinating operations and serving customers. The role should follow the work that needs doing.
In some settings, that work is entirely digital. In others, AI may act through connected devices, robots or autonomous systems. The responsibilities, resources and oversight need to fit the setting.
Our five focus areas describe where we build. Being AI-native describes how we intend to build and operate those businesses.
Help shape it
The company is part of what we are building.
This asks new questions of engineering, design, operations and leadership. We welcome people and partners who want to help work through them.
